The garden was built to commemorate the millenium and to aknowledge Woolston's proud history of involvment with the manufacture and devolpement of world class aircraft and ships and at the same time provide a unique facility for the benefit of the community. 

This garden holds a memorial to all those local to Woolston who were on the Titanic.
